About Us

TV monitor of the stalls for foal watchAs each foal is born they are imprinted at birth and handled on a daily basis. We have a TV monitor set up both in the barn living quarters and in the house. I sit in the pastures with them and love all over the them so they are the sweetest babies that you can imagine! They are turned out with their dam together in paneled paddocks, next to each other so they can visit through the panel openings. The stud colts are kept in a separate pasture together with their dams and with each other so they grow up with good manners.

They are introduced to all the activity of our farm, and with the three grandchildren running about and equipment, goats, cows, chickens and dogs, they adjust to noise and activity as an everyday way of life. Basic training of leading, clipping and loading will be introduced before offering for sale.

Our Horses and Grandchildren

Goldust's Royal Keepsake

Goldust's Royal Keepsake is a beautiful palomino mare that had her second foal in October 2001. This mare has it all, experience, wonderful ride, show history and a proven wonderful producer. The perfect Western Pleasure Horse for almost any age group. Keepsake's 2001 foal is the sire of 4 of our foals for 2005.

Goldust's Appeal

Goldust's Appeal is my personal glide-ride. Yes! I am a short fat Granny that loves her Appeal. I just could not help but get in the action - my first ride in several months after back surgery. Appeal is a 10 year old gelding and my first Tennessee Walking Horse. He had been shown in Michigan by the Jane Dewitt Four Season Stables, although he has the glitz and glitter of showmanship - we are not interested in showing - just enjoying trail riding. His temperament, disposition and loving ways along with the best ride ever makes my trail riding experience a joy. This is my big baby - they just don't get no better than this!

Appeal is for sale since I  have had more back surgery in October 2005 and will not be able to ride for at least a year. I just hate to see him not being ridden, althought he is a gorgeous 'pasture ornament'!  See recent pictures of Appeal we took in January.

Mt.View Echocharm

Mt. View Echocharm (Echo) was a 17-year-old registered Arabian mare. Echo was Tater's companion. She was raised by her previous owner and lived her retirement out with us. Even when she was 17, she had a wonderful ride and could outlast any of the horses on a long trail. She had never been bred and had intensive training in trail, dressage - you name it! She had only one other owner than me. She was a sweetheart. She got an occasional ride just to keep her tuned, but other than that she enjoyed life on the farm. On September 20th, 2001, our wonderful Echo had to be put down. She lost her fight with founder that she had gotten from eating too much of our grass that had grown so high from all the rain. We miss her very much.

Gen's Independent Delight

Gen's Independent Delight (Indy) Indy is a gorgeous black with a white blaze, disposition plus - what a wonderful loving personality this girl has. Indy has had 60 days professional field trial training Albany, Georgia in 2003 and was bred in 2004 for a 2005 foal. We were hoping for and got a buckskin, Lucky, who you can see on the Foals page. She was bred to Tennessee Goldust. Indy can be purchased for the right price. Make an offer.

BelleStar and Classy playing

BelleStar and Triple-K's Classy Edition enjoying a romp out in the pasture. Classy is almost as big as Belle. I expect Classy will top out at almost 17H. They now reside in  TN with their new owners.  Belle and Classy reside on a gaited mule farm to produce future gaited mules..

Tiffani In Full Bloom ( Daisy)

Daisy is my constant companion 24 hrs a day - and gets very upset when I do have to be away from her a few hours. She has the face of an angel and is sweet as she looks. This little gal is not only adorable, sweet and loving, she is my best little pal!

Neek and Gemini. Tater and the 3 K's

Longview's Unique Dement (Neek) Neek is the one of the sweetest horses I have ever owned - when this picture was takens she is was in foal by Tenneessee Goldust. She produce us with a the perfect stud baby in March, 2003 that is now one of our breeding stallions to carry on the Dement gene pool. .. July 16,2005  Neek presented us with a beautiful flashy blue eyed palomino colt. She will be bred again in 2006 with the same stallion for another gorgeous baby for 2007.

Katelyn, Kandace, Kolton and Two Eyed TaterTwo Eyed Tater is the clown of the farm and the only non-Tennessee Walking Horse on the farm; He enjoys getting into trouble when given the opportunity. He loves to eat and will grin for treats. Tater is now approx. 20 years old and will live his life out with us enjoying green pastures and plenty of loving care.
