Our Dement mares are a true rare fine and are still young enough and healthy to continue breeding. They are very special and produce wonderful babies that walk the walk, calm, smart, gentle, sweet, loving and the best loyal horses ever. Their patterns and colors go back to the almost beginning of the TWH world... with sabino, roaming, ticking, splash and the deep dark chestnut like copper. Most qualify for double registry - Spotted Saddle Horse and TWHBEA.
At the present time and to my knowledge, there are only five producing mares that are 100% line bred that the Dement family does not still have in their posession. AS OF FEB. 28,2005 Triple-K-Bar-C NOW OWNS ALL FIVE OF THE 100% line-bred DEMENT MARES!!!! The Dement girls produced wonderful babies for me to carry on the line. Unfortunately as of 2009 I am no longer breeding and now offering the Dement girls for sale to a dedicated breeding farm to continue on this wonderful foundation line. Please email me for details.

Three of these mares are full sisters (Princess, Easter and Sunday). Their Sire is Ballerina's Diamond & Dam is Cissy Chance. Cissy Chance died at age 27 at the homestead of the Dement Farm and was buried there in Feb 2005. Another of the 100% mares is Neek by Albert Dement out of Dement's Sassafras; Dement's Sassafras was killed tragically a few years ago. Last but not least is Memory by MerryMan Chance D out of Molly D's Surprise. We also have Dement's Easter Love, the only offspring of Dement's Normandy, full brother of Easter, Sunday and Princess. Normandy's whereabouts are unknown.
The sires and dams of these mares are either dead or no longer produce, therefore these mares are the link to preserve the past. They represent a vision for Triple-K-Bar-C TWH Farm to preserve the gene pool of that magnificent, original, undiluted gene that produces the natural gait and characteristics for which they were bred.
